Transport Days
All our pets need some attention before they travel! We love to have volunteers on our transport dates to walk or hold the dogs while they wait to be loaded on the van. All animals must receive final medications and a collar before boarding. We do not let the dogs get nose to nose, as sometimes this is a stressful day for them.
If you are an experienced adult on transport days, we can use some transport supervisors to help manage the whole operation. You would help keep water bowls full, help "move" the dogs, make sure others are appropriately interacting with the animals, etc.
OUR TRANSPORT DAYS ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY WITH SUPERVISED ADULTS!
Thank you to our local high school animal rescue clubs, North Cobb Rotary Club, & Kennesaw State students! Their community service clubs provide opportunities to earn volunteer hours while helping homeless animals through
Road Trip Home.
