Meet Dixie. Dixie was rescued by Road Trip Home and had severe eye infections. Consequently she had to have both eyes removed. But being blind did not stop her! She spent time in foster with one of our founders, and then traveled to Maine. Her new mom fell in love, and fortunately it was right at the same time as our reunion visit to AWS, so her foster mom got to meet her permanent mom! Dixie is now living the high life...she loves going on boat rides, and being blind has not stopped her from loving life!
